| Planning a Tea Party can be a memorable event in a child’s life. Whether it is a birthday party or a tea party with friends and dolls (bring your favorite), planning for the event is a perfect way to teach organizational skills.
> Prepare lists: date and time of the event, guest list, menu plan, and entertainment. Let your child help you determine what to serve. What works for adults, won’t necessarily work for children. Cookie cutters in tea shapes can be used for cookies or cutout sandwiches. Suggestions are: peanut butter and jelly, tuna salad, ham and cheese. You can make “Ants on a Log” – stuff celery sticks with peanut butter and dot with currants or raisins. Use special items like sugar cubes and sugar cube tongs for a fancy touch. Our Children’s teas are caffeine and specially formulated for children. |
